It's back-to-school season. But not for everyone.
The summer is slowly coming to an end, the kids are excited going back to school. They are meeting up with their friends, starting a new subject, learning new things and able to look into a prospective future. But that is not the case for many girls and boys around the world. Way too many countries are still not offering equal access to school and education for every child.
Education opens doors. But some stay shut. We need to change that. Our fight for the fundamental right to education never stops. The gender gap in education is major and young women are continuing to face barriers trying to enter school. With every bag we change social conditions sustainably. Our commitment to ensuring all girls can learn remains steadfast.
