INSIDER BUCKET LIST SOUTH OF FRANCE

Where else is there a place like the Côte D'Azur? The gentle, salty sea breeze, great yachts in the harbors and bright sunshine - nowhere else gives you as much vacation vibes as here! From the glamor of Monte Carlos to the relaxed Mediterranean beach atmosphere of Nice, there is something for everyone in this corner of the world. A member of our team carries the roots of her ancestors from this region, which is why we have created the “Ultimate Côte D'Azur Bucket List” for you.

TRIP START: NICE

The Marché aux Fleurs on Cours Saleya is a must-see: an open-air market with fresh fruit, bouquets of flowers and lots of little treats... the perfect place to pick up some fruit and stroll to the beach two blocks away for a little picnic . Afterwards, you can take a walk along the Promenade des Anglais into the old town, where one seafood restaurant follows the next. From here you can easily walk to the Parc du Chateau and enjoy a beautiful view of Nice. This park is located on a hill just outside of downtown, so while you could take a bus, it's even better to take a scenic stroll to digest all that seafood.

"AFTER A DAY AT THE BEACH, NOW IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR A GLASS OF FRESH LOCAL ROSÉ WITH THE PERFECT VIEW OF THE HARBOR."

NEXT STOP: ST. TROPEZ

Stroll along Jean Réveille to watch artists at work as they capture the magical essence of this Mediterranean coastal town in their masterful paintings. See and be seen is the motto at the “Plage de Pampelonne”, where the most glamorous stars and starlets of this and past times stroll. After a day at the beach, now is the perfect time for a glass of fresh rosé from the region with the perfect view of the harbor. If you like it a little quieter, it's best to choose May, June or September as your travel time.

SMALL AND CHARMING: EZE

A walk through the windy streets of Eze feels like a journey back in time to the Middle Ages. Although this small town is built on the cliffs between Nice and Monaco, it is home to countless exquisite art galleries and small cafés. A visit to the exotic botanical garden at the highest point in the city is more than worthwhile to find rare plants and flowers in this park between the cliffs. The viewpoint of this garden is also a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the unique coastal views.

LAST FINAL: MONACO

Try your luck at the world-famous Monte Carlo Casino or experience the hustle and bustle from the bar while sipping one of the exquisite homemade cocktails. Nowhere else are fame and defeat as close together as at these blackjack tables. Marine life can also be easily observed in the Musée Océanographique de Monaco - only a pane of glass separates you from the most exotic animals in the sea, sharks and breathtaking coral reefs. Don't miss your chance to get an Instagram-worthy picture of the rooftop café! The breathtaking views of Monaco's coast will have you dreaming of a vacation that lasts forever.
