THE PREMIUM LEATHER KEYCHAIN
The Soan keychain, like nearly all Buckle & Seam products, is also handcrafted from high-quality cowhide leather. In our production facility in Pakistan, our employees work with the best materials. For example, recycled threads from the quality brand Gütermann are used for the seams of our items. To create particularly durable end products, our employees process the cowhide leather in its highest quality form, known as "Full Grain," and enhance it with a special "Crazy Horse" finish. This results in products that develop an individual patina over time.

Buckle & Seam aims to make a statement against fast fashion and promote fair fashion. By producing our goods by hand, we create high-quality products that are particularly durable. We have consciously chosen to avoid mass production. We also believe that each of our customers should be aware of the value of handmade products and the effort that goes into them. That's why we pay our Pakistani employees, on average, three times what is normal for their region.

SUSTAINABLE QUALITY
Did you know that all Buckle & Seam products are handcrafted in our own production facility? The production takes place in Pakistan, where we also source the leather for our various collections. To provide you with a high-quality product, our employees process the leather in its full thickness. Even after the completion of production, our leather weekender bags have a thickness of 1.6 to 2 mm, approximately double the conventional standards.

We not only aim to provide you with a high-quality final product but also ensure that our employees, whether in Germany or Pakistan, are fairly compensated for their work and can work under high standards. That's why the working conditions in our production facilities are regularly monitored. Additionally, our employees in Pakistan receive a salary that is nearly triple the norm for their region.

Every product from the Buckle & Seam brand is unique. Our men's collections are handcrafted from leather in its highest quality form. This form is referred to as 'Full Grain,' which means the leather is processed in its full thickness. This creates an exceptionally durable end product that you can carry by your side for years. The way our models are crafted also ensures that each of them develops its own patina over the years. Just like you, your bag only becomes more beautiful with age.

companies that produce their goods cheaply in distant countries without considering the people or the environment. Therefore, we regularly review the working conditions under which our producers work at the production site in Pakistan and pay them almost three times what they would normally earn in their region.
